JAMMU, Mar 29: Despite a shrewd and seemingly upright man at the top, Central University (CU) Jammu has been turned into rehabilitation center of retired but influential officials and professors of Jammu University.
And if a recently retired employee of Jammu University is to be believed, those manning top positions in the Central University are obliging their close friends and ex-colleagues. The man whose name has been making headlines since the last more than four years for all the wrong reasons, Dr. P.S. Pathania is being rewarded with one after the other prestigious postings. Ask for the reasons and you are told that the more media makes Pathania famous, more is the responsibility bestowed on him.

ANANTNAG, Mar 29: Much to the embarrassment of National Conference, a video has appeared on the social networking site Facebook in which Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo, along with her party workers can been seen compelling an old man to oath and support her during coming elections.
The lone woman Minister in Jammu and Kashmir and her workers are seen forcing the old man to take oath and swear by Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) and promise that he will support National Conference.

SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Barely 24 hours after carrying out attacks in Kathua district militants carried out separate attacks in South and North Kashmir leading to injuries to a police cop. At the same time an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was defused in the Bemina area of summer capital early in the morning.
Reports said that a police cop got injured after militants attacked a police party in the Kakapora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district. JAMMU, Mar 29: Police and Army have independently started investigation into the twin attacks on the Jammu-Pathankote highway carried out by suspected militants on Friday that left six persons dead including a soldier and two civilians.
