Early Times Report Jammu, June 12: Shocked by his recent statement against his party colleague and minister, the government is contemplating to reopen corruption cases filed against Abdul Gani Kohli when he was serving as an engineer. Sources said the BJP leadership is annoyed with Kohli after he issued a statement in Srinagar in which he tried to give a communal colour to the government's move to get forest land cleared of illegal encroachment in Rajouri. "Muslims in the Jammu never sided with the separatists or anti-national forces. The Gujjars were used as front by Kashmir-based leaders to grab land. But Kohli, being BJP minister has given it a communal colour. The party has thus decided to check his credentials," said a senior BJP minister. "Kohli managed to get a BJP ticket and then win elections with the help of a senior BJP leader who himself has a shady past. The BJP top leadership was opposing giving him ticket.
