| Terror funding case: J&K, Delhi Police join hands to nail terror financers | | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 24: In a development that will give major setback to the terror financers, the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Delhi Police will jointly probe a case of terror financing and its related money laundering.
Sources said in the wake of recent raids by the special cell of the Delhi Police on money laundering operators in the national capital, the matter was found to be linked to Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources said subsequently the police officials from both the regions held detailed discussions wherein it was resolved that the two groups would coordinate in cracking the cases linked to terror financing.
Its pertinent to mention that both the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Delhi Police come directly under the control of the Union Home Ministry and thus a joint mechanism for probing terror financing can become even streamlined.

Jammu, Aug 24: The Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has held that the temporary government employee has no right to hold the post and his services are liable to be terminated by giving him one month's notice without assigning any reason.

Srinagar, Aug 24: Residences of three prominent lawyers are being searched in Srinagar in connection with further investigation of murder of Advocate Babar Qadri, who was shot dead in 2020.
The houses being searched include that of former Kashmir High Court Bar Association president Mian Qayoom. Jammu, Aug 24: In the aftermath of a lumpy disease threat looming large in cattle in several parts of Jammu region the Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Production Department, Atal Dulloo said the virus has no effect on cow milk and it is safe to consume.
Lumpy disease has no effect on cow milk and it is completely safe to consume, Dulloo said.
The ACS said, the disease doesn't transmit to humans.

Srinagar, Aug 24: Crime Branch Kashmir on Wednesday arrested a dismissed engineer of Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board who allegedly misrepresented himself as State Level Technical Expert (SLTE) in Srinagar. The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Kashmir arrested an accused identified as Hakim Muzamil, a resident of Baghwanpora Lal Bazar Srinagar upon the receipt of a written complaint filed by Managing Director J&K Housing Board.
