Jammu, Dec 6: The Agriculture-Festival organized by SKUAST-J today entered its third day. The program is being conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. D P Abrol, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture. The guest of honour for the third day of Agri-Fest 'Kairos 2' was Altaf Shiekh, Chairman Global Peace Organization. The day started with speech from Dr Parshant Bakshi, Co-chairperson and Sumit and Ifra were judges of various cultural activities including play, group dance, mimicry and skit. Dr. T. A. S. Ganai applauded the efforts of students who are taking part in various activities. The day started with presentation of memento to the guest of honour and judges. It was followed by mesmerising performances by the participants in various events including dancing, pehnava which showcased the versatility in the culture of India, photography, sports events such as 100 m race, badminton, table tennis etc. The programme was managed by Dr. Parshant Bakshi, Co-Chairman, Dr. Arvinder Singh, Co-organizing Secretary, Dr. Sanjay Guleria, Dr. L.K.Sharma, Member Secretary, Dr. Moni Gupta, Dr. Sachin Gupta, Dr. Sanjay Khajuria, Dr. Kiran Kour, Dr.Brijeshwar Bhau, Dr. Pradeep Rai and Mr. Ali Haider, Joint-Co-organizer. |
