| No politician visits injured jawans in Srinagar's Army hospital | | Hypocrisy at its zenith! | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: Not even a single politician from Jammu and Kashmir has deemed it necessary to visit the CRPF jawans who were injured during the car bomb attack in Pulwama in which 40 other security jawans lost their lives, exposing the real face of the politics in which sentiments are exploited with no value of human lives at all.
What caught people's attention towards the issue was the direction issued on February 17 by Governor, Satya Pal Malik, to Advisor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, to visit the 92-Base Army Hospital Srinagar to enquire about the wellbeing of the CRPF personnel who were injured in the Pulwama attack on Thursday.
Accompanied by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan and the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Abid Rasheed Shah, the Advisor met the injured personnel undergoing treatment at the hospital. He was informed by the doctors, led by Brigadier BC. Nimbiar, Commandant 92-Base Hospital, that all the injured jawans were receiving the best treatment and were recovering well.
According to the government spokesman, the Advisor interacted with the jawans and conveyed the good wishes of the Governor to them and assured them of the full support of the State Government.
"This is ridiculous that our brave soldiers who put their lives at risk are being neglected by the political parties like this. Such actions have exposed them to the core," says a netizen working in Jammu.
Pertinent to mention that at a time when the entire country was mourning the loss of is brave hearts, mainstream politicians in Kashmir on February 15 were busy doing politics and issuing statements.
Meanwhile, at present when the injured jawans are undergoing treatment at the army hospital, why the political parties are reluctant to even visit them and enquire about their health. "It means that somewhere they believe that these brave hearts mean nothing for them and they will continue pit people against each other instead of putting country first and siding with the security forces," wrote Dinesh Varma on twitter about the politicians who stayed away from visiting the wounded jawans. |
