Congress only can maintain Economic Stability in country, state: Madan

Jammu, Apr 1: Madan Lal Sharma Congress -NC Coalition Candidate from Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency asked the people to vote for Congress and as Congress is the only party which can maintain economic stability in the country particularly in J&K State.
Sharma while addressing a series of public meetings at Sai Kalan, Dewangarh , Bega Bera & Road Shows from Airport to R.S Pura Bazaar claimed that that consecutive UPA Governments has raised economic stability for poor and marginalized sections of the society by introducing various bills and implementing various Acts. Highlighting public welfare intitiaves undertaken by two successive UPA regimes, he said that MG-NREGA has raised economy of rural pockets and women folk have also been benefitted out of it. "Various health schemes under NRHM like Janani Suraksha Yojana etc too have also contributed to the economic upliftment of the people, he said further adding, "Congress has always tried to live up to the expectations of the people. He said Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson,Sonia Gandhi and Vice President AICC Rahul Gandhi paid a number of visits to the state to mitigate the problems of the people and ensured free flow of funds to accomplish the major projects initiated in the State. Seeking vote for his party, he cautioned the people against the hollow slogan mongers and communal forces, which make the politics of dividing the communities. Sharma said that the people should not fall prey to their nefarious designs and must teach them lesson.
Meanwhile referring to the coalition regime in state, alliance candidate Sharma said that coalition regime in the state has taken some landmark decisions like introducing of Public Service Guarantee Act, RTI Act, creating independent vigilance commission, conducting panchayat elections, empowering PRIs in line with Central Government and creating large number of Administrative units. Sharma also maintained that during his two tenures as MP, he has tried his best to do justice with every section of the Society in his Parliamentary Constituency which is spread right from Samba to Poonch. He said though the MP has specific role and meager funds at his disposal, yet he used his good offices and ensured substantial development in all essential sectors.
Raman Bhalla, Minister, B R Kundal, MLC, R S Chib Ex Minister, Smt Suman Bhagat ,Ex Minister, Taranjit Singh Tony, Rajesh Bittu, Darshan Raina, Romesh Motten, Sobha Singh, Kushwant Singh AYC president, Sarpanchs/panchs also addressed the people and appealed them to vote and support Madan Lal Sharma
