HC restrains respondents from interfering in land at Nandni | | | Jammu, Nov 1: In a petition filed by Suraj Parkash and his son of Nandni, seeking direction to Revenue Department to effect demarcation of the boundary of Gole and Nandni villages and commanding the respondents not to interfere or encroach upon the land owned and possessed by the petitioners in khasra No 111/32 situated at Nandni without demarcating and settling boundary of the two villages, High Court Judge Janak Raj Kotwal restrained respondents from interfering in the land. In the petition, petitioners submitted that they are owners and are in possession of land in Khasra No.111/32 at village Nandni and respondent No 4 has no right, title or interest to intrude upon the land of the petitioners without demarcating the boundary line of Nandni and Gole villages and if they succeed in encroaching upon the land of the petitioners it will cause them irreparable loss and injury and will also lead to multiplicity of litigation. That it will be in the interest of justice and fair play that the respondents be restrained from interfering or intruding upon the land in Khasra No 111/32. Justice Kotwal, after hearing the two sides, issued notice to respondents and directed that till the next date of hearing, respondents are restrained from interfering in the land of the petitioners in Khasra No 111/32 at Nandni.
