Early Times Report

Kathua, Apr 15: Castigating politicians of befooling the public by making false promises, the villagers of Panchyat Amala alleged Ex-minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma responsible for showing fake dream of upgrading the village school.
In joist of this, a deputation from the village met with Chief Education Officer and submitted their regret.
Leading the deputation, BJP District Ex-General Secretary Ashok Singh said despite gigantic expansion programs in education sector, the Middle School of village is still a blind alley for the villagers. The education policy makers will have to realize and need to rethink their strategies, he added.
Miffed over the concerned department and state government, Ashok Singh Jasrotia said, "Last year, Former Minister Dr Manohar Lal, who was MLS of the concerning constituency, inaugurated the Middle School upgrading to High School on October 17, 2014 in presence of Director of School Education".
He added that this year, the students after passing the primary standard went for seeking admission to middle classes however, the students and parents were surprised when the school administration refused admissions saying that they are not having any such order of upgrading the school to middle standard.
Miffed over the lackadaisical attitude of the education department another parent Tarsem Kumar added that in name of infra structure, the shambled building of the school is a blot on the landscape. Moreover, it is highly unlikely that the students, especially the girls do not get further education as high schools are quite far away from the village. The protester warns education department to be ready to face the resentment of villagers at intensified level if department fails to run the middle classes in the school.
Karan Singh, Sagar Singh, Tarsem Singh and many others were part of deputation
