Jammu, June 22 : Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) today inaugurated five days national level training programme for IFS officers at university campus, Katra. According to press release, "Good is no longer good enough. To survive in today's competitive environment, one need to excel", with this aim five days training programme on 'Embedding Managerial Excellence' for IFS Officers at SMVDU was inaugurated by Prof. Sudhir K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, Katra. The programme was organized by Faculty of Management with the financial support from Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India from 22nd- 26th June, 2015. During the inaugural address, Prof. Jain emphasized on the critical relevance of the theme of the training programme in the present competitive era of uncertainty and dynamic change. Programme coordinator appreciated the regular support of Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate change, GOI to SMVDU during past few years for having the belief in conduction of such kind of training programs for IFS officers. Earlier, during the function, Director, School of Business extended warm welcome to the participating IFS officers nominated by MoEF for training programme. While introducing the aim of the training programme to the participants, Organizing Secretary of the programme underlined that it will provide an opportunity to the participants to practice new managerial skills that can contribute significantly in embedding sustainable managerial excellence in the organizations. The training Programme will comprise of various interactive sessions which will be taken by esteemed resource persons. The participants of the Programme belong to different parts of the country including Telangana, Haryana, Jharkhand, UP, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Gujrat, Karnataka, Madhya Pardesh, Assam, Nagaland, etc. Whereas the resource persons for the event include Brig. (Retd.) K.S.Chauhan , HR Head Cadila Pharma, Samba,; Major General (Retd.) Dhir, Prof. N.D. Mathur, University of Rajasthan, Dr. Anjali Nigam, Dr. Ajit Nigam, etc. |
