reasi, June 22 : In a highest ever bid in the four years history of Reasi district, the ARTO Reasi Mohd Saleem today fetched Rs. 80,000 for a number plate with registration number JK 20 7777.
The bid, as per sources was made by Karnail Singh who secured the vanity number JK 20 7777.
Karnail Singh had contested 2015 Assembly elections from Reasi district independently.
Sources said that Kuldeep Raj, brother of Member Legislative Council (MLC), Jugal Kishore made a bid of Rs. 77,000 for the vanity number whereas Karnail Singh made a bid of Rs. 80,000 and hence the number was allotted to Karnail Singh. |
