SSA contractual employees to hold statewide strike today 6/22/2015 11:25:31 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 22: All the contractual employees engaged under Sarav Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA) would hold a statewide pen down strike on Tuesday, in favour of their demands. According to press release, President of Jammu & Kashmir Contractual Employees Association- Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Mohammad Shafi Peer also informed that decision of 11th Meeting of Executive Committee was forwarded regarding enhancement of salary of contractual employees engaged under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan but till date order of Ujala Society J&K State has not issued. "If our demand of issuance of order for enhancement of salary of SSA contractuals will not be fulfilled till then all the SSA contractual will go on indefinite strike", he said. Vice President of AP's & DEO's Association Jammu Samba District Rajiv Kumar also asked all the SSA contractual including AP's (Assistant Programmers), DEO's (Data Entry Operators), J.E's (Junior Engineers), Orderlies etc. to hold the complete strike on 23rd June at their District Headquarters. It is pertinent to mention here that these SSA contractuals are working on contractual basis from last 14 to 10 years under SSA but successive Govt's. have not taken any heed to regularize them and now they are forced to hold statewide strike for enhanced salary informed by Rajiv Kumar.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
