Katra, June 22: The two day long Swachh Trikuta Parvat Abhiyaan organized by International Volunteer Foundation (IVF) in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra and Srimat Vivekananda Youth Forum, Ghordi concluded. According to press release, the Swacchta Abhiyaan was organized under the 3rd edition of Save The Trikuta Mountains initiated by IVF in March 2014. A rally of 50 students was flagged off by officials and dignitaries of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board from Niharika Bhavan.
The students volunteers distributed hundreds of phamlets among the yatris and shopkeeper pass the message of this swacchta abhiyaan and raise slogans viz. Humnay yehi batana hai, Trikuta swachh bananna hai, Dustbins, Littering is Pollution,-You are the Solution, Less Pollution Best Solution, Cleanliness is Next to Godliness, Think Green-Live Green-Love Green,etc to attract the people. |
