Jammu, June 22: A general meeting of the Jagti Inmates was held and discussed the important issues confronting KPs in general and camp in mates in particular. The meeting discussed and highlighted that Relief and Rehabilitation Minister issued important instructions to solve the migrants problems in a high level meeting conducted with heads of the various departments and Relief Commissioner. But it was observed that no redressal action was taken to mitigate the problems of KPs by the concerned officers in general and Relief department in particular. Relief Department utterly failed to implement the issued instructions, but showed its usual hollow existence and promises and it reveals the malafide intentions and dictating terms of the Department. Hundreds of bifurcation files are lying and rusted with dust and the innocent people are made to wander in the premises of Commissioner but all in vain. Since 3 years the Relief organization has become only nominal organization and in practical it has become defunct and paralyzed organization.
The participants unanimously decided to frame a development committee to fight for the genuine issues and the said committee will take up the issues with Chief Minister, Concerned Minister and if needed with GOI.
