PSA demands allotment of shops

Jammu, July 13: Pending Shopkeepers Association (PSA) of Kashmiri migrants urged government to allot the newly constructed shops to them during a meeting at Jagti township. In a statement issued here today they said that we have been running shops all along in various camps earlier, but after shifting all the migrant camps to Jagti, we should be alloted shops at Jagti camp where the shops have been constructed by the govt recently. They called on BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar earlier and apprised him of their problems. Ambardar assured them to take up their issue with the concerned authorities. They also urged for cancellation of the CID verification for the allotment of shops. Those present in the meeting were Manoo Ji Tickoo, Pyralal Pandita, Ashok Reshi, Manoo Ji Ganjoo, Ashok Kumar Tickoo, Daya Krishen Raina, Chuni Lal Koul, Pran Nath Dhar, Bansi Lal and Naresh Koul.
