Jammu, July 24 : A Dogri children folk tales book entitled 'Kattha Suno bhai Kattha' was released today by Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu Prof. R.D. Sharma, in his office chamber.
The book was edited by Dr. Sunil Sharma and co-edited by Dr. Manoj Heer, Rakesh Chalotra, Babita Kumari, Ritu Raj, Parduman Singh and Shiv Khajuria.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. R.D. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, Jammu University congratulated the Dogri Bal Manch for their best effort. He said that it is the need of hour to produce Children literature in Dogri language and Dogri Bal Manch is trying its best to overcome this problem.
While speaking on the occasion, the convener of Dogri Bal Manch Prof. Shiv Dev Singh Manhas said, this is the collective effort of our organization to bring Children literature in the hands of every child of Dogra region.
Dr. Sunil Dutt Sharma thanked Sidharth Dogra of Jammu Links, G.D. Goenka Public School, Jammu and Airtel for their financial support to bring out this valuable book. |
