Jammu, July 24: In a petition filed by Swarn Singh, incharge ARTO (BOI), Jammu, who was transferred as ARTO, Flying Squad, high court judge Tashi Rabstan today ordered to stay his transfer. Justice Rabstan observed that petitioner filed this petition aggrieved of the order passed whereby he was transferred and directed to join the non-existent post of ARTO, flying squad, Jammu. In the petition, petitioner submitted that the he was transferred to the non-existent post in the transport department just to adjust the private respondent in his place. After going through the arguments of the petitioner's counsel, Justice Rabstan disposed of the petition with the direction to respondent to give fresh look to the impugned order in so far as it pertains to the petitioner and also directed that decision be taken within a period of two weeks till then the impugned order NO 56-TR of 2015 dated July 23, 2015 in so far as it pertains to the petitioner shall not be acted upon.
