Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 21: Expressing grave concern over the anti-Hindu as well as anti-secularism activities being carried out by supporters of Hurriyat Conference and militant organizations who were openly indulged in sacrilegious acts, the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K has condemned such act there by giving a set back to the religious sentiments of the Hindu community living in Kashmir as well as outside valley.
This was stated by JTC and SKF president Shadi Lal Pandita during a joint meeting of both the organizations held here today. In the meeting, the participants said that on the one hand the government is saying that the Kashmiri Pandit community shall be rehabilitated in Kashmir with dignity and on the other hand the reigns are let loose allowing such activities in the valley. Pandita said that the Hurriyat Conference was saying that Kashmiri Pandit migrants should return to their home and the conference will extend all kinds of help to the community for their resettlement but how Hindu community will resettle in their native villages when such activities are being carried out openly hurting the religious sentiments of this community. The participants of the meeting have cautioned the government for implementing the Court orders in letter and spirit which bans killing of cows. Pandita said that whatever is happening in Kashmir valley is totally against the constitution of India but surprisingly the BJP is mere spectator of such happenings adding that BJP is answerable for such happenings in Kashmir valley.
