Jammu development authority allots 22 flats at Muthi

Jammu, Sept 21: In an upcoming Group Housing Project being developed by Jammu Development Authority at Jammu, where 22 3 BHK flats are being constructed at Muthi which carries both 3 BHK and 2 BHK flats.
First phase of allotment has been completed today by allotting about 22 flats to successful allottees through a draw of lots for giving flat number to the allottees, which was conducted at JDA complex.
The selection was made out of 72 3 BHK flats comprising three towers giving additional facilities of club and car parking also, 23 BHK flats have been sold out today with price of 54 lacs each.
The payment schedule has been drawn for a period of two years during which full payment has to be made by each allottee and afterwards possession shall be handed over to each within a period of two years of till the project is completed. The group housing project will also have a society comprising club, car parking and shopping advertisement notice will be issued for the remaining 53 BHK flats so that the people can avail this opportunity for owning a flat in prime location of Jammu city.
It was also informed that the JDA has undertaken construction 524, 3BHK flats as well as 2 BHK flats at Muthi, besides 2 major projects for group housing are also being started shortly at Nagrota and Jagti.
Besides, Jammu Development Authority convened a meeting of Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) under the Chairmanship of Vice Chairman JDA. Twenty four (24) cases of building permission were placed in the meeting. The cases were discussed and deliberated threadbare in the meeting and 20 no. of cases were cleared while as 4(four) were rejected as they were found deficient in their documents and not in conformity to bye-laws. Besides 45 Nos. of NOC for Building permissions were also cleared and forwarded to Jammu Municipal Corporation for building permission which falls in the jurisdiction of JMC.
