Jammu, Sept 21: A hardcore criminal who remained involved in a dozen cases of attempt to murder, criminal assault and thefts was today arrested and booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
Police have identified the accused namely as Rohan Thapa alias Kallu s/o Vishal Thapa r/o Gorkha Nagar.
According to police spokesperson, The accused was booked by Bagh-e- Bahu police after Public Safety Act (PSA) was duly recommended by SSP Jammu and the same was passed by DC Jammu.
"The detention order was executed by Inspector Ravinder Singh Rakwal SHO P/S Bagh e Bahu under close supervision of SDPO City East Rafiq Manhas under supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand, police said. He was later dispatched to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. |
