Udhampur, Sept 21: Eight persons sustained injuries when a bus they were travelling in rolled down into deep gorge at village Amroh Ramnagar in District Udhampur. Police have registered a case in this regard. According to police reports a passenger bus bearing regd no JK02G-9048 on its way from Basantgarh to Ramnagar met with accident near Amroh when driver lost the control over the vehicle and it rolled down into a gorge. On receiving information, Police rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. Police and locals evacuated injured to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Ramnagar. The injured being hospitalized at SDH Ramnagar have been identified as Rallo Devi (25) w/o Subash Chander R/o Gandh Top, Kamla Devi (32) w/o Bishan Dass R/o Basantgarh, Sharda Devi (45) w/o Kartar Chand R/o Keya, Subash Chander (30) S/o Paras Ram r/o Gandh Top, Jia Lal (26) s/o Guddu R/o Gandh Top, Sabar Singh (35) S/o Shanker Dass r/o Shatrari, Kartar Chand (55) s/o Chanu R/o Kiya, Agya Ram (50) s/o Rupa r/o Jakhad. Meanwhile the Ramnagar police have registered a case and started investigations. |
