Jammu, Sept 25: The piquant situation that Bhartiya Janta Party is undergoing under the present political scenario in the state is of double standard which the people of the region are feeling the pulse of. Not just over the six months have passed over the formation of the BJP-PDP coalition over their unanimous consensus on the agenda of alliance of alliance (AOA) for governing the state which the people of Jammu now are feeling as the deception in disguise obligated by their 'nationalist' party to clinch power in the state is not going well with the aspirations of Jammu.
The Bhartiya Janta Party sensing the trouble rising for it and understanding the undercurrent going in the mindset of the people of region against them have embarked upon its old ideological idiorn to touch and rejuvenate its basic principles to imbibe the lost faith among the people that it is party of Jammu only.
But for that instance all the Jammu ministers presently reflecting their standing as the clan more loyal than the king are trying to list their presence in the valley and also their proximity to the ministers, MLAs and the people of the valley are sending the negative feelers to the Jammuites that all have turned sell out to the valley centric political dispensation.
To revisit the pre-poll hoopla, the aggressive rejoinder of BJP's national general secretary Ram Madhav to a query of the media as to whether the party has compromised with its core agenda and basic principals to enter into a wedlock of political comfort with PDP, his response was more of a diplomatic rather than satisfying to satiate the aspirations of the people of Jammu.
"You are talking of older order. We are on the progressive path of bringing a revolution in the state where the older ideologies need not to be revisited," Ram Madhav had retorted in more of a hostile demeanor rather than answering a query.
Recently same Ram Madhav had needed an urgent visit to Jammu to address the party leaders' meet where he had coldly told all the ministers either to take stand on their own self or retrieve from the governance.
This however apparently shows that BJP has totally lost its path of enlightenment into the political execution of the state affairs or are just a bunch of lost assembly who has no coordination to combat the coalition's compulsions for the state's governance.
" Ram Madhav had nearly roughed up the lot and tried to make them understand about the nitty-gritty of the working of governance , which these ministers and MLAs are not capable of taking up. However, they have resorted back to observations and celebrations of their Jan Sangh heroes to save their skin amongst the people of Jammu by sending the feeler that BJP's roots are embedded in their ideological conviction," said one of the source privy to developments in the party cadre.
The sources however add that such whether jugglery would pay them dividends now is a farfetched dream for BJP. |
