Early Times Report

Jammu, June 14: With Peoples' distrust in BJP having exacerbated due to its cowardly surrenders after coming to power, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and Former Minister today said that the party stood decimated in Jammu province and had yielded its space to Panthers Party.
He said that the saffron leaders who earlier groaned on trivial issues with slogans of demolishing the father - daughter party had abandoned their core philosophy only to play the role of Junior Partner in the PDP Govt. He said that in view of the BJP having melted before PDP for the lust of power, the Panthers Party had emerged as the most natural choice for the people of Jammu region. He was addressing huge public gatherings in Village Garh Samnabhanj Motto and Chore Panjian villages of Ramnagar constituency along with Yash Kundal Ex-Minister and President Youth wing.
While condemning the militant attack in Kud, Harsh Dev Singh regretted that situation in the state was reverting back to nineties with militancy spreading its tentacles to hitherto peaceful areas in Jammu region. He that it was the first time the secessionists and Hurriyat leaders were officially allowed to hold a seminar in Kashmir by the BJP-PDP to ventilate their anti India sentiments and thereby flare up the volatile situation in the State. He deplored that full scale security was provided to Hurriyat and separatist leaders during their anti national seminaron Sunday where the speakers not only raised anti India and pro pak slogans but used the choicest invectives against India besides questioning J&K's Accession with India. He regretted that BJP not only declined to oppose the said anti India seminar but also failed to apprehend and punish the culprits responsible for the attack on Mata Kheer Bhawani Pilgrims.
Yash Paul Kundal said that Panthers Party was fast reclaiming the confidence of the Jammu region people due to its persistent and determined fight for their rights. He appealed people to strengthen JKNPP as it was the only regional party of the state fighting for Jammu. He appealed the people to rise above caste and communal considerations and strengthen the Panthers Party for the ultimate good of all sections of society. With regard to the local issues of the constituency, the NPP Leaders called for early black topping of Sanot Garh Samnabhanj road, Komtana - Banjran road besides early construction of Panjian - Motto and Pantian - Nagain road for which finds were sanctioned during 2012-13. They called for early constructions of Girls Residential School at Garh besides provision of deficient staff in various remote area Schools. Expressing grave concern over the power, water and ration crisis, NPP Leaders called upon the concerned officers to restore essential services at the earliest.
