11/13/2017 10:59:06 PM
Early Times Report

Sarthal, Nov 13: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Inderwal, Ghulam Mohamamd Saroori today conducted a tour of the Sarthal area and took stock of the problems faced by the people especially of rural areas.
During the tour he visited many places including Moharwari, Dada, Thakkar Mohalla, Kahil, Karool, Karaeys and Angara areas of Sarthal and interacted with the locals and listened to their problems.
At Karool, Saroori inspected ongoing work of 100 bedded girl's hostel, construction of laboratory, laying of tiles work in the higher secondary school Sarthal and ongoing blacktopping work from Karool to Dada. Saroori asserted that the development process started by the previous Government had been stopped and as a result the people are facing problems pertaining to power, drinking water and other civic amenities. He held detailed discussions with the workers and common people about the problems being faced by them. He said he would try to put pressure on the administration to resolve issues of immediate nature but for a long term they might have to wait for a change in the Government. The anti people policies of the present State Government have turned the entire population against it, Saroori said, adding the Government is neither willing nor able to address the problems faced by the people.
He also interacted with several deputations who sought redress of their day to day grievances. Saroori listened to their demands patiently and assured them of appropriate and time-bound action. While chairing the party workers meeting, Saroori asked the party functionaries to reach out to the people with the ultimate goal of serving them and ensure all public grievances are highlighted and addressed in a timely and efficient manner. He asked the party functionaries to continue with their work of strengthening the party at the grassroots level and reach out to more and more youth and involve them in constructive party activities aimed at ushering the State into another corrective era of peace.
