NC veteran mocks RSS leader statement on Article 370, ask BJP to change its mindset

Jammu, Jan 12: Senior Legislator and former Finance Minister Mohammad Shafi Uri today ask the BJP to reconsider its stand on Article 370 and Article 35 A of the Constitution for the betterment of the state.
Speaking in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly over the debate on Annual Budget presented by JK Finance Minister Dr,. Haseeb Drabu, Mohammad Shafi Uri mocks at the statement of RSS leader Indresh Kumar who stated that " Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir is temporary".
The status of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir is "temporary", RSS leader Indresh Kumar said on Thursday as he stressed that the occupation of Indian land by China and Pakistan was unconstitutional added that India was suffering from Pakistan's sponsored terrorism and secessionism and over 66,000 people had lost their lives since 1972 due to this. He said that BJP instead of Strengthening the Article 370 and Article 35 A of the Constitution which is better and in the interest of both state as well as the country. He without referring the name of West Pakistan refuges said that the fail to accommodate over 7 lakh people who had been driven towards dead end. He ask the government to take fruitful steps towards safeguarding the Article 35 A pending before the Supreme Court of India.
"Though you have appointed someone there "Advocate" - - but it required more efforts from you (PDP) " Said Shafi Uri.
