PDP MLA stages walk out | | | Nitesh Sangral

JAMMU, Jan 23: Expressing anguish over the deteriorating health infrastructure in the Shopian, MLA of ruling PDP from Shopian staged walked out from the Assembly on Tuesday. While speaking on the discussion on grants of Health and Medical Education Department, MLA Shopian said that he has been approaching Health Ministers and other representatives of the department for upgradation of the health institute in his constituency for last 11 years but nothing has been done till date. He also raised the issue of the worsening health infrastructure in the hospital but every time nothing has been done. Later MLA staged a protest against the government for not meeting his demand. Meanwhile, another MLA also tried to walk out over the issue of unavailability doctor of his constituency but the members of the house stopped him. Earlier, he said, during grants of health, ten doctors have been posted on a post by the Health Department at evening clinics. He also added the due to above said issue the locals tried to beat me and FIR is also stand in Police station but unfortunately, the department has failed to redress the problems despite repeated reminders. |
