Impressive Shiv Baraat taken out in Jammu on eve of MahaShivratri

Jammu, Feb 12: On the eve of MahaShivratri Festival an Impressive Shobha Yatra ( Shiv Barat) was taken out in Jammu city. Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) with the active cooperation of Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust and Jammuities has organized this Shobha Yatra in Jammu City.
Mahant of the Temple Rishi Ban lead this Shobha Yatra. At around 3.30 P.M this Shobha Yatra has started from Shri Ranbireshwar Temple and passed through all main Bazaars of the old city viz. Indira Chowk, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazaar Chowk , Raghunath Bazar, City Chowk, Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazaar, Mubarak Mandi, Upper Bazaar, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazaar, Parade Chowk and will finally culminate at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple.
Many social religious organizations viz. Bawe Wala Mandir, Dewan Mandir Natak Samaj Mandli, Peer Kho Temple, Hudh Mata Trisandhya Committee Jammu Branch, Nat Manch, Shishu Kala Kendra Kanji House, Bajrangi Akhara, Sumit Anu Musical Group has participated in this Shobha Yatra and presented colourful Jhankies.
Artists of Deepak Band and Dhingra Band sing Devotional songs and made atmosphere ShivMay.
Trader organizations of old Jammu city has decorated their markets with gates, buntings, lights to welcome Shiv Barat. Distt. Admn. of Jammu has made all elaborate arrangements for the success of this Shobha Yatra.
SRMWC members who took part in this Shobha Yatra were Onkar Sharma (Nandi Ji), President, Rajkumar Gupta, Amit Gupta, Advocate Jyoti Sarup Misra ,Advocate Kapil Sharma, Mandeep Sharma, Anubhav Suri, Murli Parihar, Mohan Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Rajinder Magotra, Dr. Sunny Gupta, Rekha Sharma, Subhash Bhagat, Dolly Abrol, Surinder Bhagat and others.
