Ace Coach to visit Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy
2/12/2018 9:26:49 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 12: Famed cricket coach Atul Gaikwad is all set to visit Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy this February, where he will be conducting a high level coaching clinic for the academy's senior players. In addition, he will also be conducting an intermediate camp for intermediate players and a basic beginners level camp for those starting out.
Dr. Atul Gaikwad is one of the most sort after coaches in the country and is constantly on assignments in countries like Singapore and Dubai.
Atul Gaikwad is a Level Three coach from the National Cricket Academy's (NCA) first batch that passed out close to 14 years ago. Apart from being a Level 3 NCA coach, Gaikwad - who hails from Pune - has done the same Level 3 coaching at Cricket Australia's Centre of Excellence in Brisbane too. That aside, he holds a PhD in biomechanics, cricket bowling and performance psychology - privileges that he's not very vocal about.
Atul Gaikwad has an exclusive deal with the academy where he will oversee the development of young cricketers and will be visiting at least 2 to 3 times a year.
The academy on the occasion commented that people like Dr. Gaikwad are very hard to get a hold off because of their busy schedule and multiple high level assignments and that is why this is such a great opportunity for our young players to benefit from the premier coach's vast experience as well.
The academy added that since such moments are rare we would like other young players from our state to benefit from this opportunity as well. So, for that reason MGCA is opening its doors for players who are not part of the academy where they will be allowed to attend the camp for a small one time fee without any need for registration and monthly fees. We have devised this plan so that other cricketers who don't have access to such resources and coaches can benefit from this amazing opportunity as well. There is a lot of talent in our state and people like Atul sir have the ability to take a players game to another level.
MGCA also added that everything we do is for our kids and students. We have always maintained that we want to produce players for India and we are going to do all we can to make that happen. And as always all these exclusive resources are always free for our own students.
