AJKRTTF asks Education Deptt to release salary

RAMBAN, Feb 14: All Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-E-Taleem Teachers Forum District Ramban are up in arms against the authorities up Education department who according to them have miserably failed in releasing pay dues of the Ret teachers even on the Eve of ascopious Festival of Maha Shivratri.
In this Connection a metting of AJKRTTF District unit Ramban was held in Which the teachers expressed their anguish against the authorities Whom they blamed of not releasing pay dues Since last three months.
On the occasion State Vice President Jammu and Kashmir Gulzabir Daing expressed his surprise over the attitude of the officers of Education department for not clearing the dues which are Pending with a department since last three months. He described it as high handedness of the Government and administration. As the arrears of the newly regularized RET teachers are yet to be disbursed into their favour from last more than 2-3 years.
State Vice President Who was a special invitee for the meeting also claimed that the Commitment and the promise made by Finance Minister in augst house of State assembly of streamlining the salary of SSA teachers and linking it with the state budget were not kept till today.
Teachers complaint before the Vice President about the illegal transfer of some RET teachers of the district on the pick and choose pattern citing marriage grounds, security reasons or humanitarian grounds which is unacceptable as their are scores of such transfer cases pending before the officers of the department. He Demanded the same yard stick maybe applied to these cases also.
The members were assured that the burning issues like disbursement of SSA salaries on regular basis, regularization Of Education volunteers and transfer problems will be discussed with in state Excutive leaders of the forum, any decision will be published and communicated Very Soon.
Others who are the part of the meeting were Kabal Singh, Obaid Ahmed, Mashkoor wani, Bhem Singh, Darshan Singh, Mushtaq Wani, Anjumun Singh, Muzaffir Iqbal Runyal, Mubarak Ali, Gh Nabi,Mohd Shafi ,Kursheed Ahmed, Saleem Akhter and many others.
