Rohingyas are the "persecutors" and not the "persecuted" in Myanmar

The demography of
Jammu is already changing in a big way and under a proper mischievous strategy of Kashmir centric politicians abated and supported by the Govt. and if it will continue unabated like this it will not be far off when Assam like situation may rise in Jammu also and it will not be a surprise for the author of this write up because many times in the past concern about the vulnerability of the presence of Rohngyyas in our state. The base is already there and is being strengthened day by day and nurtured by the Govt. headed by PDP and all this is done under the nose of their coalition partner BJP who were once considered the care takers and well wishers of Jammu region, which they have lost now a days.
Now Supreme Court who is listening to the pleas of Rohingyas through their advocates namely Prashant Bhusahn seeking education and health care on the pattern of Tamil refugees in Tamil Nadu. Now the SC has asked Centre to file reply. It was surprising to find that the NGO headed by Prashan Bhushan is seeking directions from the SC to the Government of India to issue instructions to BSF thought Ministry of Home affairs restricting the BSF from stopping their infiltration which seems so strange and so ridiculous. It seems that the people who advcocate their free entry to India are playing not only with the security and integrity of nation but also with the sentiments of the people of India who are not accessible to the basic resources of their own country. They want to restrain BSF and other forces that are protecting the borders from performing their legitimate duty by safeguarding the nation. This is the tragedy with these people.
In the light of above it is clear and visible that such type of things is getting shaped in Jammu also. Time will come shortly when it will be vote bank and political parties will promise them proper rehabilitation and will find place in legislatures and will claim rights and facilities equal to stat subject which are not even applicable to those who are living in J&K for more than 70years. Police do not have the complete list of these illegal Rohingyas and have try hit and trail method and when ever there is an illegal activity taking place in these areas they wake up and punch wrong keys. They have some genuine problems as these illegal immigrants are enjoying the local support of a particular community and all Kashmir based parties including PDP a ruling party who extend all the support, impossible as well as possible, for their rehabilitation with ulterior motive which makes the job of Police a difficult one.
Earlier Central Govt. filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that the Rohingyas are illegal immigrants and not refugees, now it is clear that these Rohingyas are to be deported outside India as early as possible. Any delay in their deportation may cause unnecessary problems in our Country as there are various anti-national organisations and elements who may encash on such issues or their own political ends and may do great harm to our country. The people and leaders, who advocate their case on international human rights conventions and norms, forget that they become hypersensitive on selective basis and ignore when their own people in their country face human rights violation. When the Rohingyas issue came up entire Muslim world stood by them though it is all lip service and fake sympathy. On one hand they show solidarity with them on the basis of religion but close their doors for them. This is the hypocrisy. These leaders should understand that no body did talk about Kashmiri Pandits when they were thrown out of their homes by the radicalised Islamists in a secular and democratic country. Now the question arises why there is so much noise on Rohingyas and silence for other communities. Why other people living as refugees in India remain unheard by their own people? Why the blood of these so called Human Right activists boil for selective people who are not even the residents of our country where as they remain silent spectator to the agony and sufferings of their own country men? It seems that the religious bond seems to be much stronger than the national bond.
The plea filed by Rohingyas that they had taken refuge in India after being persecuted in their own country is totally baseless. There are two aspects to rohingyas problem. Firstly it is not true that they have been discriminated or persecuted. Secondly why should we bear the brunt of refugees from Myanmar? The fact of the matter is that these Rohingyas Muslims are not innocents who have been discriminated in their own country but are the sponsors and supporters of terrorism. They are escaping to avoid the law. They are the persecutors and not the persecuted. Another important point is why our country should bear them. Ours is a poor country and they will be drain on our limited resources and our economy.
The issue of these refugees is not a new one. People and politicians who have vested interests are deliberately keeping the issue under carpet but fortunately or unfortunately the issue has come up again and needs serious debate and investigation at the state and central level keeping in view the sensitivity of the state and their easy radicalisation into terrorist groups launched across the border. Rohingyas are people from the Rakhine State of Myanmar, who reside mainly in Northern Arakan Township.
During the Pakistan movement in the 1940`s, Rohingyas in western Myanmar organised a separate movement to merge the state with East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh). Rohingyas founded the Mujahid Party as a Jihadi Movement in Northern Arakan in 1947. The aim of Mujahid Party was to make Arakan as an autonomous Muslim State. They were active up to 1962 when Gen. Ne Win led the coup in Burma and carried military operations against them. As a result of which some Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh as refugees and some migrated to Karachi, Pakistan.
The strange and interesting feature is that Kashmir centric politicians and separatists are extending all the help to these refugees and it was recently reported that these Rohnigyas are now in a position to form groups and approach the local politicians who extend their al the support of all kinds including people. PDP party is all to raise their issue and accompany them to DIG police to see heir people are protected and no action as per law of the land is taken against them.
It is the high time for the Govt., to tackle this issue on priority with out wasting any time before it will escalate at the point at which there is no return. The presence of these Rohingya Refugees in our State is a dangerous and fraught with risks.
