Non-functional CAPD portal adds to peoples' woes

Udhampur, Apr 15: The non-functional portal of CAPD Department from January 2108 is leaving innocent consumers with lot of problems for no fault of theirs.
Rajni from far flung area Gardiya Tanhas tehsil Chenani, Udhampur complained that she wanted to add the name of her daughter in law in ration card but the department told them to wait for some days as their portal is not working
Janak Raj from Majalta tehsil is annoyed as he wants to correct the names of some of his family members but non-functional portal is playing a road block. He also said that I was maximum round in concerning official and every time they said that portal not functiong .
Another person, an ex Sarpanch of an village Rathian informed that several times they met the officers concerned but no positive outcome emerged of their assurances .
He also said that the poor class is facing a lot of harassment as they are not getting properly ration as your disurb owing to this very reason. He also said that People have requested to the govt please portal made functional soon so that they may have a sigh of relief . When contacted R A Inqlabi director of FCS and CA Jammu division he said that within week portal will be reopen .
