Jammu, Apr 19: Thakur Hoshiar Singh, State General Secretary of JK Against Corruption , an Organization that works for corruption free society has blamed that there is a huge nexus in land grabbing cases in Jammu. Earlier it used to be mostly State owned lands but now these corrupted government officials and politicians and their land mafia partners are not even sparing the Land which originally is a graveyard and land which is meant for temple.
Talking about this issue which directly relates to corruption he said, that it is known to everyone that incidents of land grabbing and multiple registration of the same property had been taking place. He alleged that several government departments were behind such cases, their links with anti-socials and mafia gangs.
He referred to a particular case where the state land which is under Tehsildar Jammu North originally meant to be used as children graveyard Khasra No : 986, was not spared, Khasra No : 247/248 belongs to temple, 346 belongs to JDA but if you go and see on location it is completely acquired by Land mafia. |
