| After five days of efforts third body found in Baramulla boat capesize | | |  S Tahir-ul Haq

BARAMULLA, May 6: After five days of efforts, the body of the third boy drowned on Tuesday was fished out from river Jhelum in Baramulla town on Sunday.
According to sources that, the body of drowned youth namely Anzar Farooq Wani S/O Farooq Ahmad Wani of Dewanbagh Baramulla was recovered by a joint team of SDRF, Marcos, and Police near ECO Park Baramulla today.
Second body of drowned youth was fished out from river Jhelum on May 4 (Friday) who was later on identified as Shahid Ahmad shah son of Mohammad Syed Shah of Dewanbagh Baramulla, said sources.
They said that the third drowned body of youth was recovered on May 3, from Sheeri, the deceased was identified as Tufail Ahmad Shago, son of Abdul Rashid Shagoo, a resident of Dewanbagh.
A joint team of police, army and local sand excavators at Sheeri area of Baramulla had recovered the body of youth.
Meanwhile a senior police official confirmed to early times that all three dead bodies of drowned youth have been recovered.
The local administration had called SDRF team, Police and Navy that has pressed motor boats and divers to trace the bodies of three youth after boat capsize in Baramulla, the police official said.
The official further said that two youth namely Junaid and Azaan were rescued immediately after a boat had capesize in Baramulla town.
Pertinently five children were drowned after a boat carrying five person capsized after it lost the balance in river Jhelum in Baramulla town of this north Kashmir district on May 1. |
