Power shut down

JAMMU, May 15: To carry out work of branch cutting and preventive maintenance, the shutdown of 33 KV NITs Chatha Tap Line is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Hakkal, Raipur, Satwari, SKAUST, Chatha and its adjoining areas will remain affected onMay 16 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, for shifting of electrical utilities of 11 KV SC-5 feeder coming in the alignment of construction of deep drain nallahs, the shutdown of 33 KV Channi-Sainik Colony line is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Channi, Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas shall remain affected from May 16 to May 28 from 9 am to 10 am.
Similarly, to execute work of branch cutting for smooth running of power supply, the shutdown of 11 KV JDA-2, JDA-4, JDA-7, TRN-1, TRN-2, TRN-3 and TRN-4 feeders is being allowed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Bahu Plaza, Shiv Market its adjoining areas and Vodafone Installation shall remain affected on May 16 from 7 am to 11 am.
Similarly, the power supply to Sec-1, 2, 3 and extensions of Trikuta Nagar, Marbel Market, Adarsh Enclave and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 16 from 8 am to 11 am.
Likewise, the power supply to Bahu Plaza, Divisional Commissioner Office Complex, Mangal Market and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 20 from 9 am to 12 noon.
However, to carry out various development works by M/s IRCON International Ltd under scheme R-APDRP Jammu, the power supply to Sainik Colony, Chowdhi, Birpur, Ratnuchak, MES, Kaluchak and its adjoining shall remain affected on May 16 and 18 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Shakti Nagar, Rajpura, Canal, Krishan Nagar, Dogra Mohalla, Science College, Old University and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 16 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Likewise, the power supply to Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 16 and 18 from 9 am to 1 pm.
