Jammu, May 16: MV International School celebrated Mother's Day in School's Prep Wing with great pomp and energy.
Aakriti Abrol, Director Prep Wing graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Enthusiastic mothers and children opened the event with 'Collage Making Competition' and 'Photo Shoot'. Special feature of the celebration was an amazing 'Talent Display' by the mothers of children who participated in large numbers in various segments of Singing, Dancing, Rangoli Making, Sher-O-Shayari and Self-written Poem Recitation.
Game shows were also organised for the mothers, which also got a quality response from the gathering. The show was dedicated to salute the mothers for their efforts and they stole the show by setting the stage on fire by their outstanding performances.
Mothers shared their thoughts & feelings on motherhood and happy parenting. Students of LKG class presented song dedicated to their mothers and UKG class gave mesmerizing dance performances. Winners of various events were: Monika Bhardwaj, Ahana (Nur.) and Arushi (UKG), Anju Bala and Saksham Chalotra (LKG), Jyotika Vaid, Mahana Vaid (Pre-Nur), Meenu Bhatia, Sneha Bhatia (UKG), Sanjogita, Akshda Sharma (UKG), Vandana Dogra, Janvi (UKG), Rimpy, Aradhya (LKG), Meenu Mansotra, Aarav (Pre-Nur), Surbhi Sharma, Chaitnya (Nur). In the senior wing, a special assembly was organized by 'The Masteros House' in which students presented beautiful poems and songs to acknowledge their mothers for all the good that they do.
