RRLHS holds investiture ceremony

Jammu, May 19: The Investiture Ceremony of Regional Research Laboratory High School, Canal Road Jammu for the academic session 2018-19 was held here today in a special programme organized to bestow the deserving students of the senior wing with responsibility of leading the school from front.
Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, Principal Scientist, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) and the Manager of RRL High School was the Chief Guest at the function who along with Jagdish Sharma, Principal presented the badges and sashes to the newly elected students council of the School.
The School is divided into four houses i.e. Raman House, Kalam House, Bose House, Aryabhata House, named after the great Indian Scientists Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, Jagdish Chandra Bose and Aryabhata respectively.
The newly elected students cabinet members are Shruti Charak and Mridul, as Captain & Vice Captain of Raman House, Vasik and Raghvi are Captain and Vice Captain of Kalam House, Manya Pandoh and Kritik are Captain and Vice Captain of Bose House whileas Parul and Ritik Katal are Captain and Vice Captain of Aryabhata House. Rakesh Kumar, Anita Wazir, Vandana Katoch, Victory Arora all senior teachers of the School are Incharges of Raman House, Kalam House, Bose House and Aryabhata House respectively.
Zabeer Ahmed, the Chief guest while speaking on the occasion exhorted the RRLians to adopt scientific way doing work so that they can have fortitude to withstand the adversity, have passion of doing wonders and never give up the struggle for excellence in their lives. Jagdish Sharma, Principal of the School advised the students council to establish a role model for the school and their classmates as well. Upasna Sharma, CCA Incharge of the school conducted the proceeding and presented the vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with National Anthem.
