Jammu, May 21: Krishna Sports Cricket Club (KSCC) today registered 7 wickets win over Bhatia Cricket Club (BCC) in the ongoing 1st Martyrs Cup Cricket Tournament Finals. The tournament is being organized by the Physical Education Department, GGM Science College at Hostel Ground, GGM Science College. In the final match, BCC won the toss and set a target of 91 runs for KCC in stipulated 20 overs. Ramdyal and Gaurav contributed 25 and 22 runs to the total respectively. Vijay Dogra took 4 wickets from the side of KSCC. In reply, KSCC scored 91 runs in just 14 overs with the loss of 3 wickets and thus KCC won the final match and cash prize of Rs 50,000 been given to the winning team and cash prize of Rs 25,000 been given to the runner up team. Surayansh Raina and Atif scored 48 and 15 runs. And Savan and Sohiab took 1-1 wicket each. And Man of the Match was Vijay Dogra. Man of the Series of the Tournament was Sohiab Mehmood and Best Batsman of the tournament was Suryansh Raina. Cheif guest on occasion of final match of 1st Matrys Gold cup was Aashish ji, Owner, A-Horizon Group of Industries and Guest of Honor was Surinder Singh Gilli, Chairman, Umeed Foundation, J&K and Ex-President Yuva Rajput Sabha. The matches were officiated by Ankush Sharma, Shivam Sadotra and Sanju, Vivek Mehra. |
