Terror victim moving from pillar to post to get justice

udhampur, May 23: While the government in Jammu and Kashmir is thinking for rehabilitation of terrorists if they shun the path of violence, a victim of terrorism moving from pillar to post to get justice.
Puran Chand is a 35- year- old from Batote and he lives with his family at present Lambi Gali Udhampur. He a belongs to old tribe from Hindu Gaddi community. His father Munshi Ram was killed in a terrorist attack in Doda 12 years ago when the terrorists hurled a grenade on the public during a BJP rally. It was National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at Centre at that time with Lal Krishan Advani as Deputy Prime Minister. Puran Chand informed that Advani along with Bali Bhagat and other BJP leaders attended the cremation of his father because his father had died in a BJP rally.
"At that time it was promised that a government job to one of our family members along with some financial help will be given to us but till date we have got nothing," a dejected Puran Chand told this reporter .
He also met the MLA Neelam Langeh who is from ruling BJP but the MLA took the issue casually, he said.
Chand further said that his file was lying at the office of DC Ramban for the last some years but there is no progress in the case.
He has appealed to the government to look into the matter and solve his problem at an earliest as he has a big family to support.
