Vijaypur, June 10: All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha, Vijaypur observed 48th Shaheedi divas of Bhagat Amar Nath at chhanni manhasan in which large numbers of people of district samba and adjoining areas participated.
Chanchal Bhagat, daughter of Shaheed while speaking on the occasion described Amar Nath a great personality who throughout his life struggled for the development and upliftment of weaker sections and ultimately sacrificed his life on 1st June,1970. F.C. Bhagat President of the Sabha informed the gathering that Bhagat Sahib sat on fast into death on 21 May, 1970 for the implementation of Reservation in J&K state.
Others who spoke on the occasion includes G.R. Bhagat, Ex Sarpanch Sham Lal, Sarpanch Bharat Bhushan, Principal (Retd) Kuldeep Raj, Sham Lal, Sain Dass, Waryam singh, Dr. Buti, Chaman Lal, kuldeep dogra and others proceeding of the programmed was conducted by Prof. Ashok Bhagat and vote of thanks was presented by Ram Chand Bhagat. |
