| Time and again the leaders from Kashmir valley cry out for the alienation of Kashmiri Muslims from the Indian main-stream. What it means and how it happened pushes in to the past history to find the facts about it. During Dogra regime before 1947 has revealed that the Dogra Maharajas had appointed Kashmiris as their Prime Minister, Minister and as head of some departments. So the valley people were given much representation in the governing and even as advisor to the King.
After 1947 the first Indian Prime Minister hailed from Kashmir valley that elevated Sheikh Abdullah as State PM and included persons from the valley to his PMO. This practice continued up to 2014. The congress party is still connected with valley leadership. A period of 1947 to 2014 absolutely presents that the Kashmir valley leadership had major role of national governing including handling of the Jammu Kashmir state in particular.
What made the valley Muslims feel alienated and stand as Anti-India lot? None can deny that Indian National Congress led by Jawaharlal Nehru to Rahul Gandhi having personal and family relations with Abdullah and Mufti families in Kashmir valley along other chosen leaders for PMO. National policy for Jammu Kashmir state revolved around these nexus. There is no argument that the Central Governments up to 2014 acted mainly on the advice of these selected personalities from the valley.
Now the question is why the valley Muslim is restless why it stands against the national constitution and against the national main-stream? Either the valley leadership has deceived the central leadership or the valley people this is the question rising in the society? The Indian government had pumped huge money in the name of all-round development, security and easy life of valley people in particular. Where that money consumed if the valley masses say they are not benefited at any stage or field? Why the central governments, congress in particular failed to access what's going on in valley and in the whole state?
Society is perturbed from many incidents such as Madam Rubbia daughter of the then Home Minister Mufti Mohammed Syed was kidnapped in whose exchange the nation had to release dreaded terrorists initiating a precedence is not investigated up to this day not to talk of charge-sheeting the culprit who is still smarting under the national security and treated as hero from the valley. The persons who have series of FIRs for anti-national activities, violence, murder, kidnapping, money-laundering and so on still wait for the completion of investigations how to think for their trial in courts? This delay need investigated to pinpoint the reasons the respective state government and the national agencies had for it. This makes one to think that this delay is either with the negligence of the central governments and state governments or due to the family nexuses makes to seek probe for national society to know the facts.
The separatists are made hero of valley by politicians and important by media keeping them as state guests to take care everywhere and in every field at the cost of the national tax-payers. If these were not treated as being treated there would have no such strikes violence and all terrorism activities. There would have never a stage to come to feel as insurgency in form. These are the tool of Pakistan who initiated proxy-war in Kashmir trying to spread all over India as she is repeatedly defeated on ground and tables.
During the period of Congress state governing through Bakhshi Ghulam Mohammed there was no National Conference, no alienation with main-stream none was seeking plebiscite, autonomy or self-rule. The congress was the absolute ruler at state and centre up to 1975. The said Kashmir problem could have settled. Why the congress missed that time?
The valley people were and are yet established and establishing their business, getting jobs, education, health care in the entire country so how the so-called alienation is pointed to? Thus one to find what made the then PM Indira Gandhi to bring Sheikh Abdullah who had no party flavors or MLA of his party to the political scene by installing him as CM with total congress support?
This change made by congress pushed state back to pre-independence days when Sheikh was instigating valley Muslims against Dogra regime. This congress act or say blunder opened gateway to Sheikh to revive his lust to form a dynastic rule of his family. Thus two families' nexus kept the governing seats at state and centre with themselves at the cost of nation. Who can deny with 1975 congress act Separatists, ultras, militancy, terrorism, anti-national activities and nearly insurgency got opportunity to appear? Congress- National Conference state government started giving dead bodies of the foreigner or local terrorist to public for religious rites where as each politician says the terrorist has no religion. This made the killed terrorist hero resultant of terrorism publicity and opportunity to instigate youth to revolt against state. The amenity to Stone-pelters time and again encouraged them as they know the security forces will not react and the state government will not punish.
The valley disturbances seeking Azadi, autonomy, self-rule, plebiscite and Nizam-e-Mustafa benefits whom? What the common valley people get? This only benefits a particular family or separatists and the common has to lose all that he gets now from national mainstream.
The valley people must understand what will happen if the Indian main-stream rejects them, snaps the tourism relation, suspends Vaishno Mata and Amarnath ji yatras disallow them to purchase land or set business and all facilities they getting now outside valley as they are doing with all? That is alienation and not now which they allege to.
The valley people have to awake and find what happening around them and who are manipulating it. They to pinpoint who are using them as fodder for own lust. They must see why the kids of such leaders are far away from this disturbance. Must watch who are benefited of this bloodshed. They must understand their leaders are the only who created alienation and hater among Kashmiri Muslims and non-Kashmiri Muslims. They must decide to reject such leaders or not? They must think for the peaceful life for their next generations. |
