Early Times Report
Jammu, June 12: Virtually upset over alleged notoriety gained in past some months due to misdeeds, a group of doctors is reportedly in process of becoming a 'dictator' for which they want the wanton power of debarring others doctors and running all affairs of the Government Medical College Jammu by appointing kin on the post of Musical Chair.
Instead of improving the functioning of the GMC Jammu, sources divulged that some doctors who always want to remain in power, are leaving no stone unturned to remove the incumbent head of this institute and trying hard to get appoint their own kin, who has become senior this month, on the said post.
If sources are to be believed, a group of the doctors also close to the present Principal and so many works have been done as per their wish by projecting themselves as the well-wisher but since the kin has become senior and eligible for the post, they have shifted loyalty and assured that the Principal of GMC Jammu will be removed within a month and project said doctor's name for the post.
"So, they are projecting the wrong image of the Principal before the Politicians, Bureaucrats as well as Medical Fraternity day night. And also claimed that the Principal was not capable to carry out the responsibility of Head of the Institute," sources informed.
Sources added that they were misguiding others that since she took charge as Principal nothing has been done for the betterment of the GMC due to which team of Medical Council of India is not happy with working and not a single effort made in the favour of the Medical fraternity.
"Now they are working to find out the misdeeds committed by the Principal and taking those points to come close to the Minister for Health Dr. DK Manyal so that things will turn in their favours, "Sources stated and adding that they are appeasing them to come close by presenting bad picture of the hospital through gimmicks.
