Eye on LS polls, BJP may befool Jammuites, again
6/22/2018 11:18:02 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22: As the Lok Sabha polls are approaching, the BJP has started building false narratives of its success and sacrifices to once again befool Jammu people.
Besides pulling out from the coalition government led by the PDP with a claim that the same has been done in the national interest, the BJP has now kick-started a campaign for listing so-called achievements of its representatives in the Lok Sabha.
One of the BJP MPs has recently come out with a table book of his achievements in the last four years. However, a glance on the booklet establishes that on the name of achievements, this elected representative has only tried to befool the people as not even a single project mentioned in the book is personal initiative of the MP.
In the table book, the MP has listed construction of toilet complexes under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Chenani-Nashri tunnel, unique railway bridge on way to Kashmir, ongoing construction of IIT complex, establishment of new colleges, etc as his achievements even as he had nothing to do with these projects.
More ironic is the fact that this MP has sought to take credit for even newly constructed Tarakote track on way to Mata Vaishno Devi, which was constructed by Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and thrown open recently for the pilgrims.
In nutshell, the entire table book of so-called achievements is a bundle of lies for befooling the people of Jammu and more particularly of his Parliamentary constituency.
While the BJP high command is learnt to have issued instructions to all its MP for coming out with such table books and project their so-called achievements, sources said that the attempt of befooling masses may boomerang for the party in Lok Sabha elections.
