Jammu, June 24 : Levelling allegations of kidnapping of his daughter against MLA RS Pura-Gagan Bhagat, father of the minor girl along with other locals of the area today staged a protest and demanded action against him however, MLA denied the allegations. In a hurriedly called press conference, MLA RS Pura-Gagan Bhagat denied the allegations of kidnapping and termed it as handiwork of opposition. He also further stated that the girl whose family is levelling allegations against him has talked to police authorities.
He further stated that he will sue the person in the court of law for defamation. During protest near Press Club Jammu, Rajinder Kumar an Ex-service man & now in service with DSC at Kupwara 28 DOU Depot alleged that his daughter namely who studying in Desh Bhagat University Mandi Govind Garh Punjab doing the course of BAMS there in the first year. "I went to take my daughter on 21-06-2018 on the summer vacation from the above said institute but I surprised to know that my daughter who is minor was already taken away by the Gagan Bhagat MLA of my constituency (RS Pura) on 8th March 2018 without informing me", alleged Rajinder.
He further said that her daughter is kidnapped by MLA Gagan Bhagat.
"A year back he approached the MLA Gagan Bhagat, RS Pura for the admission of his daughter during that time Gagan Bhagat taken the photograph of his daughter on his mobile and started black mailing her which I came to know now", alleged Rajinder Kumar father of the girl. Rajinder Kumar along with grandfather of the girl Gori Shankar said that on one side BJP is making the slogans that BETI BACHAO & BETI PADAO and on the other side their MLA kidnapping the Beti of a soldier who is doing his duty at the risk of his life in Kupwara. They appealed to the governor of state to save their daughter from such a goon MLA otherwise they will do self elimination in the front of Governor House.
