13 Amarnath pilgrims injured in accident

Udhampur, July 12: Atleast thirteen Amarnath pilgrims including two females were injured, when an Tempo traveller (Passenger Vehicle) in which they were travelling in met with an accident near Birmah bridge Udhampur along Jammu Srinagar Highway.
As per reports, the tempo traveller was on way towards Baltal in Kashmir valley collided with a truck which was parked along roadside at near Birmah bridge on Jammu- Srinagar highway in Udhampur district resulting injuries to the 13 pilgrims.
Three of them sustained critical injuries. After getting the information police as well as locals rushed to the spot and shifted all the injured persons to district Hospital Udhampur.
Deputy commissioner Udhampur , SSP Udhampur Rayeez along with senior officers of Police as well as district administration officials rushed to hospital to know about the pilgrims.
Injured Persons identified as Oneha Gate Jhansi UP Age 20 yrs., Narinder Kumar Tiwari S/o Basa Lal Tiwari R/o Oneha Gate Jhansi UP Age 28 yrs., Manju Sahu W/o Khem raj r/o Darmal MP age 46 yrs,Pooja D/o Khem raj Sahu r/o Darmal MP age 25.,Basant Lal S/o Brij Lal R/o Khasipoora Jhansi UP Age 47 yrs, Pawan Sahu S/o Ramesh Sahu R/o Jhansi UP Age age 39 yrs.,Abhishek S/o Munna Lal R/o Jhansi UP Age 35 yrs ,Manoj Yadav s/o Yash Raj Yadav r/o Khadan Jhansi UP Age 30 yrs, Rupesh Kumar S/o Jagdish Prasad R/o Bhatta Goz Jhansi UP Age 40 yrs., Aman Raja s/o Pritam Lal Korh.
