Wadiy-e-Kashmir register emphatic win in 14th Gufran T20 C'Ship

DODA, July 13: Wadiy e Kashmir script convincing win against Cue Cricket Club (CCC) Kishtwar by 76 runs in the ongoing All India 14th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship 2018 at Sports Stadium, here today.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by 10 Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda and J&K Bank. Batting first after winning the toss, Wadiy e Kashmir set a target of 227 runs by loosing their 06 wickets in alloted 18 overs game. Asrar was the highest scorer who scored 80 runs while Hashim contributed 43 runs for his team. For CCC Kishtwar, Rashid Lone and Dawood shared 02 wickets each. In reply, CCC Kishtwar team managed to score only 150 runs in alloted 18 overs by loosing their 5 wickets, thus by lost the match by 76 runs. Parveez Butt was the highest scorer who scored 45 runs while Nasir Sheikh and Rashid Lone contributed 43 runs each for their team. From Wadiy e Kashmir, Tajamul grabbed 03 wickets while Hashim and Irfan ul Haq picked 01 wicket each. Later on Asrar of Wadiy e Kashmir team was declared as Man of the Match for his superb batting performance who was given prize by Chairman Helping Hand Najeeb ur Rehman Fani and Sr Journalist Syed Riaz Ahmed.
The match was officiated by Ifroz Rather and Yousuf Raza as Umpires while Sandeep Kaushik acted as official scorer.
