| Case registered against EO, Tehsildar Thanamandi for trespassing in Court Complex | | |

Rajouri, July 22: On the complaint of Rishu Raj, Chowkidar at Court Complex at Thanamandi, police have registered a case against Tehsildar and Executive Officer (EO), Municipal Committee (MC) Thanamandi for alleged tress passing in the court complex.
Rishu Raj forwarded an application to Munsif (judicial Magistrate 1st class ) Thanamandi and he directed SHO to lodge FIR against Tehsildar and EO, MC and investigate the matter under law. According to complaint lodged that some revenue department & municipal committee employees have broken the barbed wire of the court complex illegally for the demarcation of land with a plan to construct bath rooms (toilet complex) and shop at the land acquired by the Court Authorities in 1997. The application also read that once a land is acquired by the government, can't be transferred/ allotted to any department, person for any other purpose. On the application police have registered a case under sections 447-A (criminal trespass of public premises) and 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees or more) RPC (FIR No.117/2018). |
