| Kandi Youth disowned by industries sector | | |  Early Times Report
Vijapur, July 22: Former minister and Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Manjit Singh today at Shah talab bari expressed concern over why locals not being preferred in jobs by the industrial sector.
"Even as we had Industries Minister from Vijaypur but he failed to provide job opportunities for local unemployed educated youth. Despite being an industrial area, the locals in and around Bari Brahmana fail to get jobs," Manjit Singh said.
"The locals are being engaged in industries sector on contract bases though a contractor not by direct recruitments and they also don't allegedly enjoy job security," he alleged. Manjit Singh further alleged that Kandi youth disowned by the industries sector leading to growing unemployment in Bari Brahmana and its due to discouraging attitude of Union Government, the industrial sector has also been suffering badly. The Congress leader said that faulty Industries policies have forced many industrialists to leave the sector from Jammu and it added to collapse of the industrial sector.
He also alleged that condition of roads in the area was shabby and there was acute shortage of drinking water in this kandi area. "The developmental works which were started in Congress regime are stand still and there is no progress on ground. There is no development even as funds are released by the Government of India," he added. |
