Divya Kala Manch organizes cultural show

JAMMU, Aug 3: Divya Kala Manch in collaboration with Zonal Police headquarters organised a cultural show with the sole motive to convey the message of 'Say No To Drugs' to the people of jammu irrespective of their age groups. The Cultural showcase included Inter-School Theme based dance competition where more than 15 schools participated to help the cause followed by guest performances as well.
SSP Rakesh Sharma who despite of his busy schedule managed to be at the occasion, as the Chief Guest in his address said, 'Our department is completely dedicated to eradicate this evil from the society but not just one, each one of us must take this responsibility to dig to the roots of this problem to eliminate it completely. Highlighting the fact that unemployable youth majorly gets involved in such activities, he mentioned that generation gap has to be cut short and it is the responsibility of parents to keep their children engaged in co-curricular activities so that their mental and physical strengths get channelised the right way.
The Director of Divya Kala Manch Ms. Divya interacted with the parents of kids who performed on the stage and thanked them for standing by their side and making them explore their talent especially when it supports a big cause like 'Say No To Drugs'. She also motivated the participants to keep participating at different events without thinking of the results as the more they perform, the more confident they will become.
Young and dynamic social activists like Rajesh Gill, Sandhya Gupta, Vikram Singh, Leela Jamwal were amongst the main guests of the evening who took an oath to always support issues like 'Say No To Drugs' to fully eradicate this evil from Jammu especially focusing the youth of the state who get indulged into these things because of various unknown reasons.
The Inter School Dance competition was adjudged by Mr Rajat Mehra and Ms Amar Chauhan who already have won the hearts of people of jammu because of their exceptional talents. In the end, appreciating the efforts each participant had put in, the judges decided to honour each one of them and Divya kala Manch provided various gift vouchers to all the participants.
