Rajouri officers violate traffic rules openly

RAJOURI, Aug 5: Double standards of some officers of Rajouri administration have been exposed as they are openly violating traffic rules.
Their vehicles don't have proper number plates having registered logo and IND inscribed.
Early Times has learnt that officials are openly playing with the traffic rules but Traffic department and Police are in slumber and no officer takes any action.
Although, Traffic Police and Moter Vehicle Department officials hold nakas at various places of Rajouri but the vehicles of officials are not checked.
Some officers even use fake number plates. Sonu Sharma,and Advocate Rajesh Sharma while talking to Early Times said, "It is a drama only. ramabazi only. If the are serious in their job, then they must take action against those officers who violate rules openly."
Some vehicles bearing No JK02AP 3880 belongs to Forest Conservator, JK 11 2517 belongs to Doordarshan, JK02AN 7363 Director General, JK11 A 2130 belongs to Medical Superintendent Rajouri, JKBS 2912 is owned by Medical Superintendent Rajouri.
Locals have appealed the Governor to take action against such officers who are openly violating traffic rules to set a right precedence for the future and to win back peoples' faith in the working of administration.
