Early Times Report

Srinagar, Aug 5: The militants in South Kashmir's Shopian District after suffering a massive dent with the elimination of five militants in an encounter with Security Forces yesterday were seen begging from the local people for help to carry out its Pakistan Sponsored Agenda to kill the innocent people in the state of Jammu and Kashmir through their arms and ammunition.
In a video speech of a militant commander available with "early Times", the militant commander in state of frustration was seen appealing the people of Shopian not to inform the security forces about their movements and called for the retrospection added that they are not the angels that they could not do the mistakes and ask the people to tell them where they are wrong.
He said that after doing lot of hard work, they were able to recruit the one person into militancy ranks "You people even don't allow them to survive for few hours or days by lobbing with Indian Security Forces-We were not allow to sit with ease -- Tell us what wrong did we have done-We will not repeat that things henceforth and even if you feel that picking of gun is wrong-we will drop our guns" said the militant clearly seems in frustration in the video.
He said that "Azadi" is not only for them and tried to convey the people that they have picked up the gun for them added that are they sacrificing their lives for those people who helped the security forces in killing them. He said that Shopian District suffered heavy causality of militants in recent time and the number of the death is far higher then killed in any part of the Pakistan.
He said that all the senior militants had been wiped out by the security forces added that only few junior like him are now active as they lack the guidance of senior militant ranks.
"Where ever we go-our own people are behind us-we have to shift from village to village-who is responsible for all this-it is you people who provide information to the security forces who are non locals" he said added that our men and women are providing helping them.
He said that their fight is with the union of India and they cannot fight with its own people who are providing information to security forces. He said that the love and affection some time showed by the people by kissing their hands and fore heads while they passes through various areas of the valley is fake since after that the people inform the security forces about their movement in which several of their associates got killed.
Speaking to "Early Times" a senior intelligence officer said that the militants in Kashmir has finally accepted that majority of the people are not supporting them and instead are helping them to eliminate them. He said that the people of Kashmir wanted peace and are helping the security forces to eliminate the gun from the state of Jammu and Kashmir added that it is the matter of time when people will run after them and revolt openly against them like the youths from village of martyr army personal Aurangzeb voluntary chose.
It is pertinent to mention that more than 400 militants were eliminated by the security forces in different parts of the state in last one and half year and the significant number of such militants is from Shopian District of South Kashmir.
