| BJP candidate submits nomination for Kargil elections | | | Early Times Report
Kargil, Aug 7: The Bhartiya Janta Party candidate Stanzin Tarpo today submitted his nomination for the elections of Kargil Hill Council elections from Shargale (3) constituency.
Former BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) along with MLA Devendra Manyal accompanied the candidate. After submitting the nomination form to the Presiding officer, the BJP MLA's along with the candidate of Shargale and other senior functionaries of the party took part in the car and bike rally in which hundreds of BJP activists participated amid chanting slogans.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that BJP will definitely win majority seats in Kargil Hill Council elections. He said people here in Kargil too have understood the nefarious agenda of Congress, NC and PDP of creating an environment of disharmony amongst masses and are majorly trying to distract the masses from the developmental agenda of BJP.
Stanzin Tarpo also appealed to the masses to vote for BJP in the upcoming polls and stated that their precious votes will definitely bring transformation in Kargil as well and he also expected that masses will choose the "pro people" approach of BJP.
BJP Councillors from Ladakh Wangdus and Lobanzang Sherad(Khalsi), Senior BJP leader Llama Pulzor also accompanied the BJP leaders during the submission of nomination papers of Shargale candidate. |
